Christmas is the time to share with family and friends in comfort and good food.
But our Diggers Rest firefighters did not hesitate when they received a call out at 10:50am on Christmas day. The rushed to the fire-station, donned their equipment, and raced to a fire in Napier St, Gisborne South. Our brave volunteers fought through lunch to return after 1:00 pm.
The CFA save homes and lives without making a fuss. They don't ask for much but deserve our gratitude.
