Whether it’s food or other items, holiday gift sets can be an extra great bargain because all the items have usually already been discounted to some degree to make it into a set. When their price gets lowered even more after Xmas day, you can score even more savings.3. Toys & Small Gifts
If you will need to get gifts for nephews, nieces, your children’s friends’ birthdays, etc., this can be a great time to stock up on them. Toy retailers will be trying to reduce their current stock, and you should be able to pick up some quality gifts for much less than if you ended up buying the same or similar gift right before the event.4. Christmas Stuff
If you have the room to store it, this is a great time to stock up on anything you noticed you didn’t have or that needs replacing with a Christmas theme: wrapping paper, bows, ribbons, gift bags, stockings, cards, holiday decor, lights, etc. If you are in the market for a faux Christmas tree, this is the time to get it. If you need more ornaments, or you buy yearly ornaments, stock up. You should be able to purchase all this stuff at 50%+ off its regular retail price.5. Calendars
Good quality calenders are overpriced for gift shopping. You are likely to find that the same items are 50% off immediately in the new year. They must be sold quickly or the surplus stock is wasted. Return the shopping malls to find the calenders by the end of January.
