Echo Taskforce detectives have arrested 13 members and associates of the
Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, following a number of search
warrants across Melbourne yesterday. Some of the men charged were near the Diggers Rest / Sunbury area.

The warrants were executed in relation to drug trafficking and firearms trafficking offences.
Six men faced an out of sessions hearing last night and have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates today, including:
- 28-year-old St Albans man, Cuong Hoang charged with four counts of traffick commercial quantity of drug of dependence and four counts of possess drug of dependence.
- 26-year-old Balwyn North man, Mohammed Khodr charged with traffick large commercial quantity of drug of dependence, traffick commercial quantity of drug of dependence, 10 counts of traffick drug of dependence, 10 counts of possess drug of dependence, possess hand gun, prohibited person possess firearm and prohibited person possess ammunition.
- 27-year-old Tarneit man, Logo Afuie charged with traffick commercial quantity of drug of dependence, six counts of traffick drug of dependence, six counts of possess drug of dependence.
- 54-year-old Sydenham man, Michael Barbaro charged with two counts of traffick drug of dependence, two counts of possess drug of dependence and possess firearm.
- 27-year-old Craigieburn man, James Turner charged with traffick drug of dependence, possess drug of dependence, possess ammunition and possess proceeds of crime.
- 24-year-old Lower Templestowe man, Dimi Sovolos charged with theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods, possess proceeds of crime and traffick drug of dependence.
Five men were charged and bailed by police yesterday, including:
- A 24-year-old Keilor East man, charged with traffick drug of dependence and possess drug of dependence, to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
- 31-year-old Mitcham man, charged with possess firearm and cultivate drug of dependence, to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on 28 March.
- A 28-year-old Westmeadows man, charged with possess drug of dependence to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
- A 23-year-old Glenroy man, charged with traffick drug of dependence to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
- A 25-year-old Craigieburn man, charged with traffick drug of dependence and possess drug of dependence to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
