Melton City Council has released its draft housing strategy and wants your thoughts and feedback.
The draft Strategy provides a twenty year plan that establishes housing needs and identifies suitable locations across the City’s established residential areas that can accommodate additional residential development. This will ensure that we can accommodate the future growth of our communities.
Council is currently undertaking an extended period of community consultation before it considers adopting the draft Housing Diversity Strategy.
The consultation period opened on Monday 16 December 2013 and will close on Friday 28 February 2014. Council will also be holding three community ‘drop in’ sessions in February 2014, to provide opportunities for you to ask questions and provide feedback.
