Melton Community Grants Open 11 February 2014

Residents, community groups and organisations looking for funds to support projects or events are encouraged to apply for grants of up to $10,000.

Applications for Melton City Council’s Community Funding Program will open on Tuesday 11 February 2014.

Funding is available for projects that:
  • increase community participation;
  • provide services and facilities that strengthen community wellbeing;
  • promote and develop local pride; and,
  • promote community leadership.
The Community Funding Program is a fantastic initiative which benefits many sectors of the community.

Grant Writing Workshops

To help residents prepare their applications, Council is running two grant writing information sessions.
  • Tuesday 11 February, 11am - 12.30pm at the Melton Library and Learning Hub, 31 McKenzie Street, Melton
  • Thursday 13 February, 7 - 9pm at the Caroline Springs Civic Centre and Library, 193-201 Caroline Springs Boulevard, Caroline Springs
Residents can register to attend an upcoming grant information session by emailing or calling 9747 7200.

Grant applications will also be able to be completed online.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 21 March 2014.
