Applications Set to Open for Environment Grants in Melton, 1 April 2014

Local environment groups are encouraged to apply for one of five, $1000 community environment grants available from Melton City Council.

To be eligible to apply for the grants, groups must be established environment groups that conduct work on public land within the City of Melton or be groups working in a public capacity.

Grants will be awarded at a presentation ceremony at the Melton Community Hall, 232 High Street, Melton, on 5 June 2014 as part of World Environment Day celebrations.

Application forms will be available from Council’s website from 1 April or by phoning Council’s Environmental Educator on 9747 7200.
