After raising more than $8000 last year and attracting a crowd in excess of 500, Ajay’s Pizzeria, launched in honour of Ajay Psaila, hosted the event again with organisers hoping to double last year’s success and raise much-needed funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The family day began as a tribute to Ajay Psaila who died after a tragic accident in 2012. The nine-year-old spent a week in the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital before he passed away.

All of the monies raised on the day will be donated in full to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The event was held on Sunday 23 March from 10am to 5pm at the outdoor Amphitheatre next to Melton IGA, Palmerston St, Melton.
